This will immediately stop playback, allowing you to resume from the same position when you're ready.
Setting the Playback Position
To adjust where playback starts (also known as the "Now Time" marker), you have a few options:
- Click in the time ruler or any empty space in the Clips pane (the main area where your tracks are displayed). This will immediately move the Now Time to that position.
- Use the main toolbar: Hover your mouse over the Bar, Beat, or Sub-beat values (located in the toolbar) and drag up or down to adjust the playback position. This allows for precise control over the Now Time location.
Rewinding the Playback Position
If you need to rewind the playback position to a previous point:
- Click the Jump Back button
in the transport bar.
- Alternatively, press the W key on your keyboard.
The playback position will move back to loop positions, and the playback marker all the way to the start of the project.
