To activate Cakewalk Next, you need an active BandLab Membership subscription. Don't worry—it's simple and comes with lots of great perks! Let's go ahead and get started.
Create your BandLab account and grab your BandLab Membership
- Head over to bandlab.com and click on "Sign Up."
- Fill in your details and join the BandLab community—it's free and easy!
- Once you have an account, log in to BandLab.
- On the homepage, look to the left, just below your profile picture. You should see a
icon
- Click on it, choose the membership plan that works best for you, and follow the steps to complete the payment.
- Once payment has gone through, your account will now be subscribed to BandLab Membership.
Install and Activate Cakewalk Next
- Find the installer for Cakewalk Next at cakewalk.com/next.
Click “Get Free”, then choose “Mac” or “Windows” depending on your system.
This will download the Cakewalk Product Center installer.
Install and launch Cakewalk Product Center on your computer.
Sign in with your BandLab Membership account.
You’ll see your Membership entitlements.
Download Cakewalk Next from the available products.
- When the installer finishes downloading, install Cakewalk Next.
- Launch Cakewalk Next.
- Go to Help > Sign In, and log in with your BandLab account details.
- Cakewalk Next will recognize your membership and activate it automatically
