Inserting Effects

Using effects is a way to make Your tracks sound more interesting. Cakewalk Next offers a wide range of effects such as Reverb, Delay, Compression, EQ, and others! Find out which works well with your tracks and take it to the next level!

Audio Effects can be applied in the following ways:

1. Open Next and you'll be directed to a New Project
2. Press the [+] to create a new track
3. Click on the track to open the track inspector
4. In the track inspector, click the [+] to add an effect
5. You may browse the selection of native plugins and effects by using the tags provided
6. Once you have selected the desired plugin or effect, click add
