How do I know if BandLab Assistant and CbB are up to date?

BandLab Assistant sees less frequent changes than Cakewalk by BandLab, but there still are updates to the app in addition to Cakewalk by BandLab. If the app is already open:

1. Click the gear at the top left of BandLab Assistant to open the Settings menu
2. The version number is located at the bottom. If you’re unsure which version you should be running, choose Sign Out
3. Upon signing back in, a notification will appear if an update to BandLab Assistant is available

In some cases, it may be helpful to use the Add/Remove programs tool from Windows to remove your existing version of BandLab Assistant. After, you can install the latest version from this link.

Cakewalk by BandLab

You can find the version of Cakewalk by BandLab you’re currently using by opening the program, then going to Help > About Cakewalk. You will normally see a version and build number, such as 2019.07, Build 79

Simply open BandLab Assistant, then click the Apps tab, and the button under the Cakewalk logo will read Install, Update, or Open.
