Set Up Your BandLab Account and Get Your Membership
Create a BandLab Account:
- Start by going to bandlab.com. Look for the "Sign Up" button—it’s usually easy to spot.

Get Your BandLab Membership:
- After you’ve set up your account, log in to BandLab.
- On the homepage, look to the left, just below your profile picture. You should see a
icon. You can also visit https://www.bandlab.com/membership.
- Click on it, choose the membership plan that works best for you, and follow the steps to complete the payment.
- Once payment has gone through, your account will now be subscribed to BandLab Membership.
Download and Activate Cakewalk Sonar
Install Cakewalk Sonar:
- Visit cakewalk.com/sonar to download the latest version or use the below link to download for Windows
- Click the link to start the download. Once it’s finished, follow the instructions to install Cakewalk Sonar on your computer.
Activate Cakewalk Sonar:
- Open Cakewalk Sonar once it’s installed.
- Go to the Help menu at the top of the screen and select Sign in to BandLab.
- Enter the email and password you used to create your BandLab account. Cakewalk Sonar will automatically recognize your membership and activate the software.
