Exporting your project in Cakewalk Sonar allows you to create final mixes or export individual tracks for sharing or further processing. Here’s how to do it:
1. Preparing for Export
- Check the Mix: Ensure all tracks are balanced and ready for export.
- Set Export Range: Choose the portion of the project you want to export or export the entire project.
2. Exporting the Project
- Open Export Dialog: Go to File > Export > Audio.
- Choose File Location: Select where the exported file will be saved.

Select Export Settings:
- File Format: WAV, MP3, FLAC, etc.
- Bit Depth and Sample Rate: Typically 44.1 kHz, 16-bit for standard audio.
- Export Range: Export the whole project or select a time range.
- Export: Click OK or Export to render your project.
