Creating and Using Bus Tracks

Bus Tracks can be used for various purposes, such as sending multiple signals to one track, sending dry signals to time-based effects inserted on a bus track, or for creating groups for your instruments.

Here are a few ways you can create a Bus Track and corresponding Send to that Bus Track.

  • Click Insert > Insert Bus or use the key shortcut option+control(command for Mac)
  • You can also click on the [+] icon to create a Bus Track
  • To send audio from an Audio Track, an Instrument Track, a Sampler Track, or even another Bus Track, simply go to the Track Inspector of your Track. Click the + icon near Sends, and select the Bus you want to send signal to from the drop-down menu.

If no Bus Tracks have been created yet, you can also create a Bus Track within the Track Inspector of a Track that is already opened.

  1. Click the + icon near Sends
  2. Select “Create New Bus” from the dropdown menu
  3. Send Level will be at the nominal level when created
