Installing Products with Cakewalk Product Center

Get Started

1. Launch Cakewalk Product Center.
2. Sign in with your BandLab account if you haven't already.
3. Select the product family you want to manage from the navigation pane.

Select a product family to view the applications and add-ons available to your account.

Install or Update a Cakewalk Application

The App section contains the main application installer for Cakewalk Sonar or Cakewalk Next.

To install or update an application:

1. Select Sonar or Next from the navigation pane.
2. Find the App section.
3. Select the button next to the application.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation or update.

Install Cakewalk Add-ons

The Add-ons section contains additional content and software components available for your Cakewalk products.

To install an add-on:

1. Select the appropriate product family.
2. Open the Add-ons section.
3. Find the add-on you want to install.
4. Select the button next to the add-on and follow the on-screen instructions.

Install a Previous Version

Cakewalk Product Center provides a Rollback option for supported products.

Rollback lets users access and install previous builds of Cakewalk Sonar or Cakewalk Next when available. Previous versions can be useful when testing an earlier release or when troubleshooting compatibility with a project, plug-in, or system configuration.

To check for previous versions, open the product in Cakewalk Product Center and look for the Rollback or Show Previous Versions option.

Keep Cakewalk Products Up to Date

Cakewalk Product Center displays available updates for supported products.

When an update is available:

1. Open Cakewalk Product Center.
2. Select the product you want to update.
3. Select the available Update option.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Keeping your Cakewalk products updated gives you access to the latest available features, improvements, and fixes.
