This guide walks you through setting up Cakewalk Product Center (CPC) for the first time, including installing the application and signing in with your BandLab account.

- A stable internet connection
- A BandLab account
- Administrator access to your computer
- Enough available disk space for your Cakewalk products

Setup Steps
Follow these sequential steps to complete your initial installation and setup:
Install Cakewalk Product Center
If you haven't downloaded Cakewalk Product Center yet, see What is Cakewalk Product Center for download links and additional information.
Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Launch Cakewalk Product Center
Open Cakewalk Product Center from your Start menu, Applications folder, or desktop shortcut.
The first launch may take a few moments while the application initializes.
Sign In to Your BandLab Account
- Select Sign In and enter your BandLab account credentials.
- If you don't have a BandLab account, create one at BandLab, then return to Cakewalk Product Center and sign in.
Check Your Available Products
After signing in, Cakewalk Product Center will load the products available to your BandLab account.
Your available products and features depend on your account and, where applicable, your active BandLab Membership.
Once setup is complete, you're ready to install or update your Cakewalk products.

Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble completing the first-time setup, try the following steps:
Setup Troubleshooting Checklist
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- Confirm that you're signing in with the correct BandLab account.
- Make sure Cakewalk Product Center has the necessary permissions to run.
- Close and restart Cakewalk Product Center.
- If the application does not launch correctly, reinstall Cakewalk Product Center.
