If you need help accessing a legacy Cakewalk product, Support may ask for information from your original Cakewalk account to verify ownership and locate your registration records.
You can view products associated with your legacy account by signing in at https://legacy.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products.
Please note that legacy account services are maintained for compatibility with older products. As Cakewalk continues to focus on its current product lineup, support and services for legacy products may become more limited over time.
Information That Helps Us Locate Your Account
Please provide as much of the following information as possible:
- Legacy Cakewalk account email address
- Legacy Cakewalk username
- Product serial number
- Product name
The more information you can provide, the better our chances of locating your historical records.
Legacy Account vs. BandLab Account
A legacy Cakewalk account and a BandLab account are separate account systems.
If you owned Cakewalk products before Cakewalk became part of BandLab, your product registrations may be associated with your legacy Cakewalk account rather than your current BandLab account. Because of this, Support may ask for your legacy account information even if you're signed in with your BandLab account today.
If You Don't Remember Your Account Details
If you've forgotten your legacy account information, a product serial number may still help us locate your registration records.
However, recovery depends on the availability of historical records. If the product was never registered to a legacy Cakewalk account, or no matching registration can be found, we may be unable to recover the product or provide access to installers.
Important
Legacy products are no longer part of the current Cakewalk product lineup. Access to installers, licenses, and product records is limited to the historical registration information that is still available. If no matching records can be found, recovery of the product may not be possible.
