How to: Install & Register Melodyne

Melodyne is installed as an add-on and is part of the Cakewalk Sonar installation process. Please ensure that it is selected for download and installation. A 30-day trial version of Melodyne is included with Cakewalk by BandLab!

If you are looking to reinstall Meldoyne without the need to install Cakewalk Sonar, you can grab the direct installation of Meleodyne 5 Studio Trial here 

Melodyne will now be found in Cakewalk Sonar as Audio FX on a track or as Region FX on a clip. When first opening Melodyne, you will be prompted to activate the product. Here's a quick step-by-step if you're activating Melodyne within Cakewalk Sonar:

1. Launch Cakewalk Sonar and choose a new or existing project.
2. On an audio track, find the FX Bin and click the [+] to add a new plugin.
3. Find Melodyne. If you sort by manufacturer, you will see a tab for Celemony.
4. When Melodyne has been added, the editor menu and a note to activate the product will appear.
5. Follow the prompts from Celemony, which should include creating a myCelemony account and registering your product. You can activate the Melodyne trial directly from the Celemony site!
